DIG
Develop In Grace
What if the key to growth isn’t in striving but in surrender? What if grace has been with you all along, waiting beneath the surface, ready to nourish, heal, and transform?
In DIG: Develop in Grace, Candice Evans invites you on a journey of self-discovery, resilience, and renewal. Blending personal storytelling, professional insight, and spiritual wisdom, she explores what it means to DIG—develop in grace—through life’s challenges, transitions, and triumphs.
Drawing on metaphors of nature, faith, and healing, Candice unearths the beauty of grace in the everyday: the lessons found in stillness, the strength revealed in vulnerability, and the transformation that comes from embracing your roots. Whether you are navigating loss, reclaiming your voice, or simply seeking a deeper connection to yourself and your purpose, this book offers a gentle but profound invitation:
It’s time to DIG deep.
It’s time to Develop In Grace.
“Grace is the soil from which we grow, nurturing our roots even when the ground feels hard. It is the quiet force that supports our growth, often unseen but always present.”
— Quote from DIG: Develop In Grace
“You don’t have to chase grace—it’s already here, waiting beneath the surface, ready to nourish, heal, and transform. All you have to do is DIG.”
— Quote from DIG: Develop In Grace
About Candice
Candice Evans is a writer, licensed clinical social worker, speaker, and founder of Develop in Grace, where she helps individuals, families, and organizations DIG—develop in grace—through counseling, coaching, and consultation. A lifelong storyteller and seeker of meaning, Candice blends humor, faith, and hard-won wisdom to inspire others to navigate life’s challenges with resilience and purpose.
Rooted in her experiences as a grief counselor, mother, wife, and military brat who has called many places home, Candice brings a unique perspective to the work of healing and transformation. Through her writing and speaking, she reminds us that grace is both a gift and a practice, a force that grounds us in who we are while guiding us toward who we are becoming.
When she’s not writing or leading transformative conversations, Candice can be found dancing to a beat only she can hear, discovering new home and natural remedies, spending time with the people she loves, making memories, and laughing out loud.
